Made to order

Originals are hand-painted in advance — Mahmoud picks one, signs the back, then frames and crates it the week after you order. The 12-inch desktops are laser-cut from coloured paper after you pick a palette: one sheet per layer, in your colours, then stacked and signed. No piece sits in a warehouse — they all run through the studio between order and delivery.

Timing — up to 2 weeks

Both variants ship within 2 weeks of your order. Originals take longer for framing and crating; desktops take longer for cutting and assembly. If you need it sooner — a gift, an anniversary, an event — email Mahmoud and he'll tell you what's possible.

• GTA (Toronto, Peel, York, Halton, Durham) — free. Mahmoud delivers in person or via local courier.
• Rest of Canada — flat rate, fully tracked via Canada Post Expedited Parcel:· Originals — $120 CAD

All sales final

Because every piece is made or prepared specifically for your order — a one-of-one original framed and signed, or a desktop cut in the palette you picked — we can't take returns or exchanges. The piece is uniquely yours from the moment we start.

If something arrives damaged in transit, that's on us — email mahmoud@mahmoudhalat.com within 7 days of receipt with photos of the damage + the packaging, and Mahmoud will replace or refund the piece.

Care

Hardwood frames, paper or paint layers — all physical objects. Keep them out of direct sunlight (paper fades faster than paint), dust gently, don't hang in a bathroom. Each piece is signed and numbered on the back so you can verify authenticity later if you want to.

Payment + checkout

Checkout runs through Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The charge appears on your statement as HALAT ARABESQUE. Stripe emails you a receipt; we email you within 24 hours of payment to confirm the piece is in production.
